About Steven
Hello,
I am Steven. I am a 41 year-old native Dutch tutor.
I would love to help you learn the Dutch language, customs, and culture.
In the first 30 years of my life, I was in The Netherlands where I have been teaching, training, and mentoring written and spoken Dutch to all skill levels.
In the past 9 years, I have been living and teaching throughout Europe. Whilst enriching my general cultural knowledge, I have had the pleasure of having students from many different backgrounds from all over the globe.
I am a language and communication teacher.
With over 15 years of experience teaching individuals and groups alike, I cover all levels from total beginners to C1, and even C2/native level for students looking to improve their overall communication skills.
This includes preparing for examinations for newcomers in the Netherlands and doing practice exams for:
NT2 Staatexamen (inburgeringsexamen, Netherlands)
CNaVT-examens (Belgium)
If you are studying in The Netherlands and you have a specific Dutch exam (for example you study medicine and need to pass Dutch) I can also help with my experience.
Additionally, I have over five years of experience teaching Dutch to groups of customer service agents (B2-C1 level) in the UK, USA, and throughout the EU. This experience has provided me with enhanced cultural insights, which I incorporate into my lessons.
